Glazing Project Executive

Reference:  OpportunityA well-established and growing commercial exterior contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join its expanding glass division in the Baltimore market.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced commercial glazing professional who can provide leadership across a portfolio of projects while supporting Project Managers, strengthening client relationships, and driving financial and operational performance.

The Project Executive will play a key role in overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with project management, estimating, field operations, general contractors, owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities Provide senior-level oversight and leadership across multiple commercial glazing projects.

Manage project performance from contract award through completion and closeout.

Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and project teams.

Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change orders, and financial performance.

Monitor project profitability, forecasting, cost control, and overall project health.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

Support preconstruction activities including scope review, budgeting, constructability, and project planning.

Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to cost, schedule, contractual, and operational challenges.

Review and negotiate change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.

Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure a successful transition from awarded work into project execution.

Ensure projects are appropriately staffed and that project teams have the necessary resources to deliver successfully.

Monitor project schedules and address potential delays before they impact delivery.

Represent the company in key client and project meetings.

Establish and improve project management processes and best practices.

Contribute to the continued growth and development of the glass division.

Ideal Candidate8+ years of experience within commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, architectural glass, or building envelope construction.

Proven experience overseeing multiple commercial glazing projects.

Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Operations Manager, or similar senior-level construction professional.

Strong technical understanding of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, entrances, windows, and architectural glass.

Strong understanding of project financials, budgets, contracts, scheduling, procurement, and change management.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop project management teams.

Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Experience working directly with General Contractors, Owners, Architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Strong commercial and contractual awareness with the ability to identify and mitigate project risk.

Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar is preferred.
