  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure complete scope coverage
  • Develop subcontractor bid packages and coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing
  • Perform bid leveling, proposal comparisons, and scope alignment reviews
  • Identify scope gaps, overlaps, exclusions, and potential pricing risks
  • Support value engineering efforts and provide cost analysis recommendations
  • Coordinate clarifications and scope alignment with subcontractors and vendors
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
  • Collaborate with Preconstruction, Project Management, and Operations teams throughout the estimating and budgeting process
  • Assist with project budgeting, planning, and project handoff documentation
  • Maintain organized estimating files, bid documentation, and cost tracking information
  • Update estimating databases, pricing information, and project records
  • Contribute to improving estimating workflows, processes, and estimating accuracy
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of estimating, preconstruction, or related construction experience required
  • Commercial construction experience required
  • Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Procore preferred; experience with estimating software and other construction management platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
Compensation

$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year , with full benefits including vacation and sick leave, and a 401(k) employer match program.
