Foundations Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Foundations Project Manager to oversee the design and construction of specialty foundations, deep foundations, and excavation support systems. The ideal candidate will manage projects from planning and estimating through construction and closeout while ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements are met.

• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and proposals for sheeting, shoring, and deep foundations.
• Review geotechnical reports, design documents, and contract specifications.
• Develop design documents for excavation support systems.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Manage material procurement, subcontractors, permits, and insurance requirements.
• Work with field teams to develop construction plans and review constructability.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and progress.
• Conduct project meetings and prepare monthly status reports.
• Maintain project documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
• Lead project closeout and maintain strong client relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a concentration in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in specialty foundations, sheeting and shoring, or deep foundations.
• Experience managing self-perform construction projects.
• Experience preparing estimates using HCSS Heavy Bid.
• Experience with specialty foundation design software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in DC, Maryland, or Virginia, or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical reports, construction documents, and foundation systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor construction environments and challenging site conditions.
