Junior Architect – WSP, U.S.
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Junior Architect to work out of Arlington, VA;
Washington, DC;
Baltimore, MD or Durham, NC. Be involved in projects with our US Postal Service Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our clients’ objectives and solves their challenges.
- Perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects to large projects. Exercise independent judgement in some areas evaluating, selecting and applying standard architectural design techniques, procedures and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications.
- Assist with the preparation of design documents, reports and related project documents using REVIT and other applicable software.
- Complete designs for applicable projects, prepare architectural working drawings and related project documents.
- Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.
- Conduct site and construction inspections gathering information, compiling reports for management.
- May assist in development of proposals.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 1-3 years of related design experience
- Familiarity with USPS requirements
- Ability to travel, some internationally, to project or client sites as needed
- Proficiency with CADD and REVIT platforms and their capabilities
- Architectural license

CompensationExpected Salary (all locations): $76,200 – 83,930. WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
