Intensivist Opportunity in Baltimore, MD

Position Overview

A growing Critical Care team is seeking a full-time Intensivist to join a collaborative ICU practice covering both teaching and community hospital settings. This role provides a mix of complex and moderate acuity patients, procedural practice, and opportunities to teach residents and medical students. Assignment Details Position Type:

Schedule:

13-14 twelve-hour shifts per month (combination of days, nights, and weekends) Call:
In-house ICU coverage; night coverage averages 4-5 shifts per month Practice Setting:
Closed ICU, mixed academic and community hospital Team: 11 full-time Critical Care Intensivists, 8 full-time Critical Care Physician Assistants Procedures:
Central line insertion (ultrasound-guided), arterial catheter, IO insertion, thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture, small and large bore chest tubes, intubation, bedside ultrasound Patient Mix:
