Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Jan 23, 2026. This role features 7-day inpatient day coverage stretches each month, with shifts from 8am to 5pm. The assignment involves working in an inpatient setting with a focus on day shifts and no night call.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient day coverage for cardiology services
• Perform echocardiography lab and intraoperative transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) if experienced
• Manage acute and ongoing cardiac cases in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient care
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management

Additional Information

• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology required
• Maryland medical license required
• Experience with echo lab and intraoperative TEEs preferred
• No night call responsibilities
