Sinai Hospital is a regional medical campus of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Starting in April 2023, Sinai Hospital will be hosting GW medical students for all required rotations and electives for their third and fourth years of medical school. Since 2018, GW medical students have been rotating at Sinai Hospital for various rotations, including OB/GYN.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible generalist. Sinai Hospital is accredited by ACGME, provides an academic appointment with the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and offers a robust OB/GYN residency program with 16 residents.
Responsibilities and Benefits:
- Teach future OB/GYNs in our ACGME‑certified residency program of 16 residents (4 per year).
- Work with a well‑established team of 6 OB/GYNs, 2 APPs, and 16 residents.
- Provide expertise in complete prenatal and postnatal care, and the latest gynecologic surgeries.
- Support a growing Maternal Fetal Medicine practice that offers full‑range antenatal services.
- Collaborate with a registered dietitian for diabetes management support.
- Contribute to our Urogynecology and Gynecologic Oncology divisions for full‑range GYN care and obstetric emergencies.
- Utilize robotic surgery (DaVinci Xi) when available.
- Manage OR case block time and participate in a laborist program that supports the labor and delivery floor.
- Work Monday–Friday office hours with rotating call schedule.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible.
- Successful completion of an ACGME‑approved OB/GYN residency program.
- Ability to obtain a Maryland medical license and DEA license.
- Expertise in robotic and minimally invasive GYN surgery is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Competitive guaranteed base salary of $275,000–$325,000 depending on specialty, board certification, and experience, with opportunity for additional incentive compensation.
