Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and Grace Medical Center. Our hospital‑employed group provides inpatient services at a 500+ bed facility and outpatient services for the surrounding community in northern Baltimore. Inpatient transfers and outpatient referrals of more complicated GI patients from affiliated facilities are common, including requests for advanced endoscopic procedures.

• MD from an accredited medical school – required
• Board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology with completed GI fellowship
• In possession of or eligible for Maryland Medical License without restrictions
• Current CDS license, DEA certificate
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Proficiency in EGD/colonoscopy and interventional EUS/ERCP required
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with disorders of the gastroenterological, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic systems in the outpatient practice as well as provide inpatient consults on a rotating basis
• Enjoy the reward of working with and supervising residents and medical students
• Advise, order, and perform appropriate tests and interpretation of results
• Carry out follow‑up appointments, monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, update patient records, and make referrals as needed
• Remain up‑to‑date on current best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology
• Clinically supervise inpatient PAs when on call
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings
• Timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing
