This full-time position includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with a mix of open and minimally invasive procedures. The practice is well-integrated with other surgical and medical subspecialties and is supported by a highly skilled team of advanced practice providers, residents, nurse navigators, and other allied health professionals. Practice would consist of time divided between the LBH and GBMC Thoracic Surgery divisions with dedicated support at both facilities.

Key Features of the RoleMultisite Practice Model: Shared time between GBMC and LBH clinics with flexibility to shape your clinical mix.Thoracic Call: Only for assigned and unassigned thoracic patients with resident and APP coverage for 1st call at Sinai and NW and APP support for the urgent chest tubes at GBMC.Advanced Surgical Practice: ION robotic technology along with access to robotic and minimally invasive technology (with access to two DaVinci XI robots in all LBH ORs and at GBMC), collaborative OR infrastructure, and strong clinical referral networks.Collaborative & Supported Care Model: Partner with surgical hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and specialty-aligned colleagues in GI, oncology, and radiology.Program Growth & Innovation: Opportunity to contribute to program development, quality improvement, and academic scholarship.
