Overview

The Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology, Division of Advanced Clinical Neurology is seeking a full-time Neurohospitalist to join our growing team. Primary practice location will be at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.

The Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology has ranked in the Top 5 for the last 30 years by U.S. News & World Report. The Division of Advanced Clinical Neurology serves patients across the spectrum of neurological disorders, from the common to rare, and particularly those that do not clearly fit within the domain of a single neurological subspecialty. With highly-trained academic neurology  generalists , the Division provides timely access through a divisional practice with an emphasis on continuity of care in the acute period.

This includes inpatient and urgent outpatient consultation, through acute hospitalization, and on to clinic follow-up.

The candidate will be a full-time Clinical Associate with The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Neurology, and will be able to participant in excellent senior staff benefits. Additionally, the candidate will be provided with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Qualifications

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology and eligible for a Maryland Medical License

Salary Range

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University s good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate s geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
