Outpatient Academic Pediatrician; MD

Join the Division of General Pediatrics at The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore as a full-time General Pediatrician serving patients at Greenspring Pediatrics and Loch Raven Pediatrics. This outpatient, academic role combines your own patient panel with resident and medical student teaching, community pediatrics, and care for a diverse Baltimore-area population. New graduates are welcome, with dedicated teaching time and opportunities for professional growth.

• Teach in a community-based pediatric training program: Sinai has Maryland's only nationally accredited pediatric training program based in a community hospital, with 25 pediatric residents and opportunities to teach George Washington University medical students.
• Build your career in a seven-physician General Pediatrics division: The division offers opportunities for personal and professional growth while providing supported time for resident and student teaching.
• Make a meaningful impact in a diverse community: Care for families from Baltimore and surrounding communities, with a focus on community pediatrics and underserved patients.
• Choose from two established outpatient practices: Greenspring Pediatrics at Sinai Hospital has served as a residency continuity clinic and faculty practice since the 1970s, while Loch Raven Pediatrics was established in 2019 to serve Parkville and eastern Baltimore County.

Manage a panel of pediatric patients while providing comprehensive outpatient general pediatric care to children and families in the Baltimore community.

• Extend your impact through teaching by supervising medical students and pediatric residents during acute care and continuity clinic, with four residents participating in the practice.
• Build future pediatricians through ongoing resident and medical student education as part of an academic outpatient practice.
• Share after-hours responsibilities through phone call coverage distributed across the General Pediatrics division.
• Coordinate care with pediatric resources on the Sinai campus
  , including nursery, pediatric emergency, and inpatient hospital services supporting practice patients.

• Maryland medical license without restrictions, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics

• Compensation: Base salary ranges from $200K-$230K annually based on experience, with work Relative Value Unit (wRVU) and quality incentive bonus opportunities
