Class Description
This part-time adjunct position teaches college level non-credit Workforce Development courses that focus on:
1) Building and Apartment Maintenance, and/or
2) Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating systems, and or
3) Stationary Engineering / Boiler Operation.
Pay rates for the non-credit courses in Continuing Education are commensurate with education and experience qualifications.
Classes are available for both day and evening schedules.
Campus locations:
Catonsville & Dundalk.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be a subject matter expert.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Part‑time benefits include retirement options such as a 403(b) and 457(b) plan. Eligible employees may contribute to a 403(b) (traditional or Roth) and a 457(b) plan, with payroll authorization required.
- Parking is free; a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety is needed for all campuses.
- Paid sick and safe leave is provided for part‑time employees, including credit and non‑credit adjunct faculty.
