Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in Computer-Automated Machining & Manufacturing. CCBC serves over 50,000 students and 200 businesses each year, offering a holistic learning environment with multiple campuses and community locations.
ResponsibilitiesInstruct college credit and non‑credit courses on a part‑time basis. Offer day, evening, and weekend sections. Develop lesson plans that support the Common Course Outline and administer evaluation methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and reports. Evaluate students’ performance, grade assignments, manage the classroom, and deliver instruction in a professional manner.
CompensationAdjunct Level 1 – $1,085 per credit hour.
Qualifications- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the machining field.
- Experience with one or more of the following: milling machines, lathes, CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, GDT, CNC programming, inspection, or CAMM software.
- Professional certifications such as Machinist Apprenticeship, NIMS, or a related degree are a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Retirement plans: 403(b) and 457(b).
