Mesivta Ne'imus HaTorah is a local, non-mainstream high school. We have small classes, and we encourage teaching through class discussion and collaboration. Although our curriculum is not difficult, it is essential that the teacher have the ability to explain the material clearly, to present matters practically, and most importantly, to "get" the students and where they are coming from.
About the PositionCurrently, we are looking for ENGLISH & AMERICAN HISTORY teacher(s).
These are some of the job specifics:
- Classes meet Monday through Thursday
- Classes meet in the afternoon (3pm-3:45pm and 3:45pm-4:30pm)
- We follow a regular Mesivta schedule (plenty of off-shabbosim, yomim tovim, fast days etc., plus no general-studies classes Fridays and Sundays)
