SaNDAI Cares is recruiting rising students to serve as community leaders for its Data Gen Scholar (DGS) program — and we want YOU to be part of the movement. As a Vice President, you will help launch and lead a community-based program that empowers your peers with cutting-edge knowledge in data analytics, generative AI, and innovation.

We are looking for high school juniors who are:

Data Gen Scholar (DGS) is a national initiative by SaNDAI Cares that empowers high school students with data analytics, generative AI, and leadership skills to thrive in the digital age. Through hands-on learning, real-world applications, and community-based programs, students gain knowledge that fuels both academic and community impact.

SaNDAI Cares is recruiting one to 10 student leaders to serve as Vice Presidents of the DGS program. Vice Presidents will work closely with program Presidents to lead, manage, and expand the impact of the program in their community. You are also required to attend 14 hours of training with the SaNDAI Cares once you begin in this role.

This leadership role is ideal for highly motivated juniors who are collaborative, organized, and eager to promote digital skills, equity, and innovation among their peers.

  Support the President in all program launch and leadership activities

  Lead community-wide promotion and marketing of the DGS program
• 🌟Promote a strong program culture aligned with DGS Code of Conduct

  Track progress on tasks and encourage program participation

  Maintain communication with SaNDAI Cares leadership and attend virtual check-ins

• Must be a current high school junior enrolled in a Fairfax County, VA;
  
  Loudoun County, VA;
  Alexandria, VA;
  Baltimore County, MD;
  Sugarland, TX or New York, NY public or private school
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Active in at least one school-based club or team sport
• Collaborative, reliable, and passionate about leadership and tech equity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Vice Presidents will receive a $225 stipend monthly beginning June 30, 2025 and must attend also 14 hours of training with the SaNDAI Cares team at the start of their role
• The official term is June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026
