Baltimore Elementary Bilingual (Spanish) Tutor In Person 24/25

Hey Tutor has partnered with a school district in Baltimore and we are looking to hire a Bilingual (Spanish) English & Math tutor who can assist elementary school students during after school hours.

• Work with groups of students without teacher or school staff support.
• Prepare area for tutoring session.
• Pick up and drop off students from designated areas if required.
• Take attendance and run lessons through Hey Tutor Dashboard.
• Document student progress with Hey Tutor Dashboard.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested by manager.
• Lead a group of students in the tutoring session using curriculum and materials provided by the program.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices.
• Engage and interact with tutoring lessons alongside the students.
• Daily clock in and out of Deputy for shifts.
• Other duties as required by company, manager, or school site.

• Completed AA or higher, or currently enrolled in college.
• Tutoring experience, especially with elementary school math and ELA.
• Comfortable tutoring elementary school math & ELA.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check.

Monday-Friday: 4 hours per day. 1:30-5:30PM M-F.

Pay depends on a combination of education and experience and will be determined at interview.
