Baltimore Elementary In-Person Bilingual Tutor

Baltimore Elementary In-Person Bilingual Tutor '25/'26

Hey Tutor has partnered with a school district in Baltimore and we are hiring a Bilingual (Spanish) English & Math tutor to assist Elementary School students during after-school hours. You will work with students from 3rd to 5th grade in-person and must be comfortable passing an in-person background check.

• Work with groups of students without the support of a teacher or school site staff
• Prepare the area to start tutoring sessions
• May be responsible for picking up and dropping off students from designated areas in the school site
• Take attendance and run lessons through the Hey Tutor Dashboard (if applicable)
• Document student progress with the Hey Tutor Dashboard
• When requested by the manager, facilitate students taking and completing baseline and summative assessments
• Lead a group of students in tutoring sessions using curriculum and materials provided by the program
• Create an engaging environment that fosters a sense of belonging for students
• Support students in making positive behavior choices
• Engage and interact with tutoring lessons alongside the students
• Daily clocking in and out of Deputy for shifts
• Any other duties required by the Company, your manager and/or the School Site

Monday-Friday: 4 hours per day

• Must have completed an AA or higher, or be currently enrolled in college
• Tutoring experience (experience working with kids)
• Must be comfortable tutoring Elementary School Math & ELA
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)

Pay depends on a combination of education and experience and will be determined at the time of the interview.
