Position Salary Range: $16 per hour

Summary

Instructional Aides support the Kids on Campus Program in a variety of ways. They serve as an instructional aide to classroom teachers, distribute and collect materials, assist with office tasks, and monitor students during break and lunch times. Instructional Aides help to maintain a safe and orderly environment monitoring hallways, arrival, and dismissal, breaks and the lunchroom. They also act as a liaison between parents and staff.

Essential Role Responsibilities & Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required at the start of the program.
  • Good communication skills and previous work experience with school-age children is preferred.
  • Training or skills with computers, copiers, and other office equipment is desirable.
  • Program work is from June 11 - August 14.
  • Must be able to work from June 11 - August 7; preference will be given to those who can work through the end of the program on August 14.
