Elective teachers will work as a part of Bridges’ High School Summer Jobs Program. This is an opportunity for excellent teachers with a passion for a subject to craft their own curriculum.

During the five-week program, teachers will teach their elective class 2 days per week for 3 hours per day. Small class sizes range from 8-15 high school aged students with Bridges’ full-time staff present to assist in the classroom.

The Summer Jobs Program is in-person on-campus at Loyola University Maryland. Teachers will report to Bridges Baltimore’s Senior Director of High School, College, and Career Programs. Before the summer, teachers will be in communication with the Senior Director and will be asked to participate in one meeting in April or May 2026.
