Hey Tutor has partnered with a school district in Baltimore and we’re looking to hire Spanish bilingual Math tutors who can assist high school students during school hours. You will be working with students of all ages between 9th-11th grade.

You will be actively supervising students as you help them catch up from learning gaps developed over the past school year. You must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check.

$22-26 per hour. Pay is determined based on education and experience at interview.

• Work with groups of students without teacher or school staff support.
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• Pick up and drop off students from designated areas in school site.
• Take attendance and run lessons through Hey Tutor Dashboard.
• Document student progress with Hey Tutor Dashboard.
• When requested by manager, facilitate baseline and summative assessments.
• Lead a group of students in tutoring sessions, using curriculum and materials provided by the program.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices.
• Engage and interact with tutoring lessons alongside the students.
• Daily clocking in and out of Deputy for shifts.
• Perform any other duties required by the Company, manager, or school site.

A day: 7:25 am‑2:10 pm
B day: 9:15 am‑2:10 pm

• Spanish bilingual required.
• Must have completed an AA or higher, or be currently enrolled in college.
• Experience tutoring, especially working with kids.
• Must be comfortable tutoring Elementary Math & ELA.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us).
