Part Time Temporary Culinary & Baking Non-Credit Trainer
Reports to:
Director of the Culinary Arts
Blue Bell Campus (Hospitality Institute)
* This position requires the candidate to provide PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint prior to first day of employment.
The Hospitality Institute of Montgomery County Community College is seeking part-time experienced chef trainers to teach non-credit culinary classes specializing in one or more of the following areas:
- Basic cooking/baking skills to aspiring young chefs ages 10-17
- Basic cooking techniques, skills and methods for adults
- Specific or a variety of global cuisines
- Advanced Cake Decorating/Advanced Pastry Techniques
- Spirits and Cocktails/Mixology
- Wine and food pairing
- Food Science and Nutrition
- Culinary teambuilding for businesses
- School or community events involving demonstrations and food conversations
- Serv Safe - bilingual (in English and Spanish) instructors preferred
Qualifications:
- Applicants must havea comprehensive understanding of working in a kitchen, recipe creation, and teaching (no degree required)
- Must have a passion for food and educating people about cooking/baking, food science, or nutrition.
