Affiliate Instructor - Ecology and Evolution

Responsibilities
  • Teach lecture course BL154 (lecture) and/or BL155 (2 credit laboratory course) or both.
  • Prepare syllabi, lecture materials, lab activities, and PowerPoint slides.
  • Hold office hours and provide feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with the faculty coordinator and lab staff.
  • Commit approximately 10 hours per week per course (3‑4 hours for meeting times, 1 hour for office hours, 5 hours for preparation and grading).
Qualifications
  • PhD or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Scientific expertise in ecology and/or environmental biology.
  • Strong interest in teaching undergraduates.
  • Willingness to respond to feedback and work collaboratively with other instructors.
Compensation

$4,000.00‑$4,500.00 per year.
