Overview
First Baptist Church of Laurel, Laurel, MD is seeking a full‑time Associate Pastor to serve our 365 members. This role focuses on pastoral/shepherding care for the congregation in partnership with the Elders and will be integral to proactive member care, corporate discipleship structures, 1‑to‑1 discipleship, and building an effective biblical counseling culture.
Responsibilities- Provide pastoral care and develop discipleship programs.
- Engage in regular preaching rotation.
- Work with the Elders toward eldership within 6‑12 months.
- Strong teaching skill and experience.
- Committed to Reformed theology, complementarianism, and historic Baptist beliefs and ministry principles.
