Position: Instructional Assistant, PreK (NE) (Current Opportunity) - Archbishop Borders School, Baltimore MD
The Instructional Assistant, Elementary School will provide support to teachers in a classroom setting. This support can include tasks such as grading assignments, preparing materials for class, and providing one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional help.

Essential Functions

• Cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Prepare age-appropriate materials.
• Help organize and prepare resources for students.
• Help in integrating technology to effectively create a 21st-century learning environments within the classroom (ISTE Standards).
• Collaborating with other teachers, staff, students, and parents to support student progress.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management.
• Participate in all faculty meetings, retreats, school committees and in-service learning opportunities.
• Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with parents.

Position Qualifications

• Degree in Elementary Education and/or 90-hour childcare certification preferred.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• Must be an active practicing Catholic.

Pay Range: $15, Hourly
