Position: Teacher, Science, Middle School (EX) (Current Opportunity)- Cardinal Shehan School, Baltimore MD
The Science Teacher will provide the students a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.

Essential Functions

• Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
• Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
• Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of student's progress and development, in a timely manner.
• Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, required.
• MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required.
• Classroom teaching experience, preferred.
• Proficient in using a variety of technology.

Salary Range: $49,000 - $53,000, Annually
