Director of Learning & Development, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) role based at one of Crossover’s Alpha campuses under a contractor agreement. The position is immediately available and requires daily on‑site presence.
Base Pay$200,000 per year, paid weekly. Equivalent to $100 USD per hour, calculated on 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

- Coaching and developing Guides to deliver Alpha’s workshops with exceptional quality.
- Building Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices and design engaging learning experiences.
- Deliver consistent, practical feedback to Guides to drive student participation and success.
- Personally coach a small student cohort, demonstrating expert guidance and motivational techniques.
- Ensure every learner in your cohort enjoys school, progresses at 2× speed, and achieves mastery in life skills.
- Creating lesson plans – Guides support student learning through adaptive applications.
- Compromising on standards – the passing threshold is 100 % and you must uphold it.
- Running dull training sessions – you will develop Guides through dynamic, energizing, experiential learning.
- Current relocation or residing in one of the listed on‑site locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable area.
- Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities with experience building, directing, and energizing high‑performing teams.
- Background working with youth populations (ages 5‑18) in educational or developmental settings.
- Skilled in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement.
- Authorized to work legally in the United States.
The position is a full‑time contractor role and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
