Strong candidates should possess an awareness of and interest in high impact practices in line with the mission of Jesuit higher education. Faculty development opportunities are also available, including startup funds for establishing a research program. We highly value the ability and motivation to collaborate with other faculty members, the provision of high-value experiences to our undergraduates and graduate students, and a commitment to  inspire students to learn, lead, and serve in a diverse and changing world.

Loyola's work on behalf of diversity and inclusion spans the entire campus, and we welcome candidates who contribute to our stated goals of equity and inclusion through their research, teaching, and/or service.
