Thispositionisresponsibleforprovidingskilledchildcaretochildrenwhoenrollat Kids Care Plus.
The Teacher will implement daily activities that promote learning, independence, and social interactions.
- Provideskilledchildcaretotoddlersandchildrenagedtwothroughtwelveyears.
- Reinforcelessonspresentedbythe Lead Teacherbyreviewingmaterialwithstudents one-on-one or in small groups.
- Teachsimpledrawing,painting,craft,andlanguageskills(e.g., songs)
- Activelyparticipateinrecreationalplay and teaching activities.
- Engagewithchildrenbyapplyingknowledgeofchildhooddevelopment,including learning behavior and physical, mental, and emotional development.
- Maintainopencommunicationwithparentsand caregivers.
- Observeandmonitorchildren’splayandinteractive activities.
- Instructchildreninhealthandpersonalhabits,suchaseating,resting,andtoilet habits
- Assistinginpreparingandservingchildren’smeals,snacks,or beverages
- Attendingtothehygienicneedsofthechildren(including changing diapers)
- MaintainMSDEyearly COKclock hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Beat least
19 yearsofage - Haveahighschool diplomaor equivalent education
- 90clockhoursor equivalent ofapprovedearlychildhood coursework
- Haveatleastone(1) yearofexperienceworkingwithpreschoolersinan approved setting
- Three(3) hours inADACompliance
- Nine(9) clockhoursofapprovedtrainingincommunicatingwithstaff,parents,andthe public
- Have dependable transportation
