We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Transportation Bridge Engineer to join our Baltimore office. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career by working on a wide range of bridge and transportation structure projects with the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers. In this role, the engineer will work on a multi-disciplinary team developing bridge and structural plans for transportation projects for MDOT, VDOT and/or municipal localities.

• Assist with the design and analysis of highway and transit-related bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and plan sets.
• Support senior engineers in developing construction documents and specifications.
• Conduct fieldwork including bridge inspections, data collection, and site visits as needed.
• Apply structural engineering principles and software tools to solve complex design challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across WRA to deliver high-quality projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; master's degree preferred
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and in a design group setting
• EIT/FE certification preferred

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $97,000.00
. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including knowledge, training, skills, location, and experience.
