Quality Control Specialists/Managers (Construction)

We are recruiting four experienced Quality Control Specialists across Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Architectural disciplines. These roles are hands‑on, field‑focused, and critical to ensuring high‑quality, safe, and compliant project delivery.

Base pay range: $80,000 – $130,000 per year.

Locations:
Washington, DC and Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment installations (ductwork, piping, chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs).
• Review plans, specs, and submittals for compliance.
• Verify startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all installations comply with ASME, ASHRAE, NFPA, and applicable building code requirements.
• Work with project teams to resolve non-conforming work and finalize punch lists.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in mechanical construction, HVAC, piping, or QC.
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect conduit, cable trays, wire pulling, terminations, grounding, switch gear, lighting, telecom, and fire alarm systems.
• Witness electrical testing: megger, continuity, functional performance.
• Maintain QC documentation (ITPs, daily reports, punch lists).
• Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and project specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in electrical construction, commissioning, or QC.
• Understanding of one‑lines, schematics, and testing equipment.
• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect foundations, concrete work, rebar, formwork, steel erection, welding, and earthwork.
• Perform slump tests, air content, cylinder prep, torque checks, and bolt inspections.
• Oversee compaction testing, subgrade prep, and excavation work.
• Verify compliance with IBC, ACI, AWS, and all project specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in structural QC or field construction.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or government projects.
• Strong documentation and coordination skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Evaluate interior finishes: drywall, flooring, painting, millwork, hardware, wall finishes.
• Verify materials match approved submittals and mock‑ups.
• Ensure high‑quality craftsmanship and resolve non‑conforming work.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in architectural QC or commercial construction.
• Strong eye for detail and finish quality.
• Ability to coordinate with PMs, subcontractors, and inspectors.
