Job DescriptionOur company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Reporting Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, maintain, and manage compliance reporting systems to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed compliance reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to address compliance issues, implement corrective actions, and integrate compliance requirements into project planning and execution.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, providing training and guidance to project staff on compliance-related matters.
- Analyze compliance data and trends to identify areas for improvement, develop risk mitigation strategies, and contribute to the creation of compliance-related KPIs.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and industry forums to stay informed about best practices and represent the company during compliance reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in compliance reporting, preferably in the transportation or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to rail infrastructure projects
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in compliance reporting software and tools
Salary
:
Salary range is dependent on scope of work, location of project, as well as level of experience. This range could fall anywhere between $110k - $150k
