Location:
Baltimore, MD office.
- Lead medium to large electrical design projects and direct junior‑level engineers.
- Collaborate with clients, the design team, and contractors.
- Develop fee proposals and manage project budgets.
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland.
- 16+ years of progressive experience, including a lead engineer role on mission‑critical and/or data‑center projects.
- Design experience with the following:
- One‑line diagrams and specifications for mission‑critical electrical components, including UPS systems, generators, medium voltage switch gear, and static transfer switches.
- SCADA systems and automated operations for critical equipment.
- Electrical design topologies such as Tier III, Tier IV, N+1, and 2N.
- Compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, NFPA, Uptime Institute, ANSI/TIA‑942).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong reputation as an engineering professional.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor and train younger engineering staff.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, government TS/SCI clearance.
- Proficiency in ETAP or SKM.
- Experience with Revit for designing complex power systems in raised‑floor environments.
