Project Support Specialist; Costa Rica

Does the idea of working on projects that shape skylines across the nation excite you? If so, Power Design is looking for a kick‑ass Project Support Specialist to join our growing team! This position works directly with the Project Manager to ensure our field team has the materials they need so we can continue to be the most trusted partner in the construction industry.

• Review material requests and prepare purchase orders and invoices
• Obtain quotes for miscellaneous POs and provide to the Project Manager for review
• Work with suppliers regarding scheduling and follow up on deliveries
• Review AP holds and work with the Project Manager to clear
• Adhere to material guidelines to eliminate purchasing risks – reconciliation of CBOM vs miscellaneous PO
• Identify and elevate frequent miscellaneous purchasing requests to management
• Maintain and enter purchase requisitions and vendor information into the project planning database
• Perform project management support tasks in support of the project management team, such as coordinating material transfers and decommitting material
• Keep all stakeholders updated with timely, accurate communication, and compile required information and records

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Travel Visa
• Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to multi‑task while meeting strict deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and an outgoing, friendly personality
• Extremely detail‑oriented and the ability to handle a high‑volume workload
• Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English, as this role requires communication with English‑speaking clients and colleagues.
