The role serves as a trusted, proactive partner to field leadership across projects between Wilmington, DE and Baltimore, MD. - Base Salary: $80,000 – $115,000

- Act as a trusted advisor to project managers, superintendents, and field leadership on all safety matters.
- Provide hands‑on field presence across heavy civil, utility, gas, and electrical transmission/overhead line projects.
- Lead coaching, safety stand‑downs, learning reviews, and after‑action reviews.
- Guide crews through high‑risk activities, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory safety requirements.
- Support and influence the development of SOPs, safety programs, and training initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in incident prevention, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation.
- Mentor and develop junior safety staff, helping to build the next generation of safety leaders.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations as needed to support safe operations.
- 1‑10 years of safety experience in heavy civil, utilities, gas, or transmission/overhead electrical work.
- Strong field leadership presence and the confidence to influence high‑risk activities.
- Experience coaching crews and facilitating learning reviews or stand‑downs.
- Solid working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and relevant industry safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a mentoring mindset.
