My client is an Engineering Consulting firm nationwide. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their upper echelon staff role. The Senior Electrical Engineer shall have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The senior engineer must excel at collaboration with clients and the project team, including internal AE and sub-consultants. Other responsibilities include developing fee proposals, managing project budgets, and directing project teams.

The engineer shall be able to lead medium to large projects and oversee and mentor younger engineers.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program is required Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland required
• 16+ years of relevant progressive experience including experience in a Lead Engineer/Project Manager role
• LEED BD+C preferred
• Proficient in ETAP or SKM
• Experience with Revit and the design of lighting and power systems for government, military, commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional facilities
• Excellent reputation as an engineering professional.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and train younger engineering staff.
