RK&K is hiring a college intern for the Summer 2027 season to join the W ater Resources Division in our Baltimore office . Our interns will receive on-the-job training, mentorship and insight into various aspects of the consulting engineering industry from design to field work and client management. Individuals will be exposed to various challenges, projects and technology related to his or her specific discipline.
Asa Paid Intern in our Water Resources Division you will
- Assist in the d esign of stormwater and storm drain systems.
- Assist in the design of erosion and sediment control practices.
- Conduct field investigations to document existing conditions and evaluate stormwater facilities and outfalls.
- H ydraulic modeling using TR55 and TR20 based models
- Preparation of construction plans and cost estimates.
- Assist in the design of stream restoration projects.
- CADD in Micro Station Software
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related area
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Participation in professional societies or extracurricular activities
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro Station and/or GIS
