Federal Hill Mortgage is seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer or loan partner who knows how to structure and qualify purchase / refinance transactions.

Our clients are over 90% referral-based, which means we avoid cold calling and dealing with endless borrowers shopping for rates. As a licensed loan partner, you can expect to earn well more than $100,000 between the combination of a generous salary + commission in your first 12 months with us. We are rapidly growing our originations and seek a growth-minded loan partner to grow with us.

Federal Hill Mortgage is seeking an experienced Loan Partner or Loan Officer to be a high-level Loan Partner to Maryland’s leading Loan Officer Tammy Saul. The perfect candidate is one who thrives in a client-facing, solutions-driven role. This is a full-time, salaried + commission position working out of our Baltimore City office (Federal Hill neighborhood). We have an amazing team of high producing LP’s with more referral leads than they can effectively handle.

• Take complete loan applications and work directly with clients to structure and pre-approve home loans
• Coach borrowers who need guidance to become mortgage-ready
• Oversee each file through processing and underwriting until it closes
• Analyze credit, income, and assets to structure loans that align with FHA, VA, USDA, and Fannie Mae guidelines
• Run DU, stack and submit files, request conditions, and clear them efficiently
• Communicate clearly with borrowers, Realtors, and team members throughout the loan process
• Track milestones, stay organized, and follow up meticulously

• 5+ years of recent mortgage experience (as a Loan Officer, Loan Partner, or Loan Officer Assistant)
• At least 2 years of experience working with purchase loans
• Strong knowledge of loan structuring and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple files in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be located within commuting distance of Baltimore, MD (Federal Hill office) – this is an in-office position
