Borrower Support Specialist

In the Role

• Processing of select Borrower’s assistance approvals with adherence to policy

• Respond to telephone inquiries regarding decisions rendered (in bound/out bound calls)

• Keeping up to date on company policies and procedures to ensure compliance

• Identify and escape significant issues to management

• Ability to handle special projects as designated by management

• Reviewing submissions for select borrower’s assistance program approvals and processing, such as Deferments, Loan Modifications, and Re-Ages. Respond to telephone inquiries regarding decisions rendered. Understand company policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years’ experience of analysis

• Strong oral and written communication

• Understand company policies and procedures.

• Ability to perform in a high volume work environment.

• Excellent PC skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.

• Strong problem solving skills, analytical skills, attention to detail.

• the ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines.

• Ability to work in partnership with others and in a team environment.

• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Baltimore, MD - Target base salary range is $30-$35 per hour, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
