As a Branch Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers’ banking experience. You’ll also perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures. Equally important is the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience.

what we’re looking for in you:
- Friendly, engaging people person—helping folks with technology challenges, casual conversation, or showcasing services and products.
- Reduce customer financial anxiety by determining personal and business financial needs; refer to experts to guide customers to their financial destination.
- Compliance‑focused: ensure audit and security policies and procedures are followed per Bank policy and Federal regulations.
- Support customers in all branch areas: cash handling, service needs, rotating to meet customer needs.
- Improve overall retail experience with fewer handoffs; every Ambassador is an expert.
- Curious and eager to learn—taught about Capital One products, services and experiences.
- Digitally savvy—showcase mobile/online experience, educate customers on additional banking channels.
- Team player—work with an energized banking team and inspire teammates.
- Research and answer customer inquiries, enhancing retention and engagement by recommending solutions.
- Travel between branches in assigned local area and support the market.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience
- At least 6 months of cash handling experience
- Associate’s degree
- 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Clarksville, MD: $48,048 - $48,048 for Branch Ambassador
Dundalk, MD: $48,048 - $48,048 for Branch Ambassador
Elkridge, MD: $48,048 - $48,048 for Branch Ambassador
