Required:
Must have prior live-in care experience - Additional Requirements: Fingerprinting and background check are mandatory
- Reliable, dependable, honest, and caring: These traits are essential for providing effective care and building trust with clients.
- Effective communication skills: Necessary for interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and communicating effectively with supervisors and healthcare professionals.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and up-to-date auto insurance: Required for transporting clients to appointments or running errands.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification: Critical for handling emergencies and providing immediate medical assistance if needed.
- Experience as a caregiver: Preferably in a home care setting or skilled facility, indicating familiarity with caregiving tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision: Demonstrates independence and responsibility in maintaining a professional relationship with clients.
- Full scope of interaction with the client in their home: Providing comprehensive assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
- Assistance with personal care and ADLs: Following a care plan to ensure clients receive appropriate care based on their individual needs.
- Transporting clients to appointments or running errands: Utilizing your transportation and valid driver’s license to assist clients outside of their home when necessary.
