General Summary

As Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Oncology, you will:

  • Serve as an advanced pharmacist practitioner engaged in providing pharmaceutical care
  • Regularly monitor patient-specific therapies and collaborate with other health care team members
  • Participate in quality‑assurance activities, represent department on hospital‑wide committees, and serve as a resource for other health care practitioners
  • Ensure safe and accurate dosing, preparation and handling of chemotherapy
  • Actively participate as a preceptor for the residency program and for students, when appropriate
  • Primarily serve as the Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, however, be available to help Central Pharmacy functions if needed
  • This position reports directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Manager
Educational Requirements/Preferences
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from accredited school;
    Pharm

    D preferred.
  • PGY‑1 from an ASHP‑accredited program is required
  • PGY‑2 from an ASHP‑accredited program preferred and/or 3‑5 years of relevant clinical experience
  • Current Maryland Pharmacist license required.
Shift

Full‑Time (40 hours per week), Rotating shifts including weekends & holidays.

Salary Range

Minimum $56.57/hour - Maximum $93.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
