We invite experienced medical physicists to join our team at the clinic site, collaborating with Cancer Care Leadership to ensure high quality and safe interpretation, delivery, operation, and monitoring of radiation safety policies, procedures, standards, and equipment for Radiation Oncology Services.
Responsibilities- Ensure delivery of high-quality radiation therapy.
- Provide staff education and training to minimize radiation exposure.
- Implement and abide by Customer Service Standards.
- Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices.
- Demonstrate Family‑Centered Care principles when interacting with patients, families, and co‑workers.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2‑5 years of clinical experience, including a CAMPEP‑accredited residency.
- Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology (A ) or equivalent certifying body preferred; if not certified, eligible for board certification and must achieve it within 3 years of hire.
- Experience with High Dose Rate (HDR) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) programs.
- Experience with linear accelerators, surface guidance, EMR and R&V systems, HDR afterloaders, treatment planning systems, ion chambers, electrometers, and image analysis software.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time for commissioning and implementation roles.
