The Johns Hopkins Hospital has been at the forefront of discovery, innovation, and medical advances for over 125 years. The Radiological Physics Division (RPD) was established in July 2002 as the Division of Medical Imaging Physics. The RPD’s mission is to conduct state‑of‑the‑art research in medical imaging physics, provide physics education to residents, fellows, and technologists, and provide clinical physics support to the Department of Radiology.

• Complete quality assurance surveys and acceptable testing on all imaging modalities (X‑ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, mammography, PACS).
• Assist with research support, resident teaching, staff training, and education.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory accreditation requirements.

• Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics with a strong diagnostic medical physics background; preferred experience.
• Three years of experience working with radiology imaging equipment of all modalities including fluoroscopy, radiography (CR/DR), mammography (tomosynthesis), CT, MRI, ultrasound, and PACS.
• Board certification in diagnostic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology or the American College of Medical Physics.
• Must be licensed by the State of Maryland as a State X‑ray Inspector within six (6) months of hire.

Minimum $54.59 per hour – Maximum $90.15 per hour. Compensation commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
