Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Perform interventional radiographic procedures at a safe and experienced level without direct supervision

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations with daily census of approximately 10 patients

• Operate in 3-room facility performing angiographic/interventional procedures using prescribed techniques

• Handle various procedures including nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and hemodynamic monitoring

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Must have neuro experience and scrub experience

• Must have vascular interventional experience

• Must be within 45-minute radius for call back

• Call schedule includes weeknight backup call 5pm-7am Monday-Friday, weekend coverage 7am-7am Saturday and Sunday, and holiday coverage when needed

• 40 hours of orientation required

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ACLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI, Fluoro Permit, State licensed, advanced EKG

• Experience required with accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, cardiac ablation, carotid procedures, central venous access, chest tube placement, embolization, ERCP, and various interventional radiology procedures

• Must be proficient with PACS systems and contrast administration

• Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission

• May float within facility and to affiliate hospital nearby

• Maximum assignment length of 365 days with required 6-month separation period
