Med Star Health is looking for a Diagnostic Technologist to join our team! This is a part‑time position every other weekend, Sat and Sunday evenings from 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (10 hours per week). We are looking for a registered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills.

The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation.

• Acquire ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Send images to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Report any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintain X‑ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Perform preventative maintenance regularly.
• Obtain patient history, answer patient questions, and explain procedures. Transport patients to radiographic room and prepare and maintain the room.
• Perform radiographic examinations. Prepare written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Request and order supplies.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Associate degree preferred.

USD $29.73 - USD $48.63 / Hr.
