Job Summary
Coordinates administrative and clerical support staff to proactively provide for efficient and effective operation of area of responsibility.
- Coordinates departmental administrative and clerical activities to ensure efficient and effective operation of the office. Monitors productivity and provides recommendations to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties unique to home department.
- Serves the needs of patients in the Medical Office.
- Ensures that all customers receive exemplary service. Serves as a patient/customer advocate when needed.
- Communicates relevant and pertinent information to the department and throughout the facility, to ensure optimal patient care, and that staff are aware of new initiatives and issues as they arise.
- Performs all job duties with a focus on safety for the patient, self and co-workers.
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital administrative experience; 5+ years preferred.
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
