Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Interpret medication orders, profile orders and oversee the packaging, labeling and distribution of medications.
- Perform drug therapy monitoring and intervene on drug dosing, drug administration, drug interactions, side‑effects and monitoring issues; complete therapeutic drug monitoring consults and adverse drug reaction reports as assigned.
- Provide accurate and timely drug information to physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
- Interpret research medication orders, ensure accurate preparation of investigational drugs and maintain complete and accurate records.
- Maintain proficiency in medication handling (including hazardous medications), compounding sterile/non‑sterile preparations and completing quality assurance checks per standard operating procedures and policies in compliance with USP , and guidelines.
- Oversee the work of Pharmacy Technicians to ensure rapid medication order turn‑around time; assist with the education, training and general supervision of Pharmacy Residents, Students and technicians.
- Speak up when team members exhibit unsafe behavior; continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation; stop in the face of uncertainty until resolved; demonstrate accurate, clear and timely verbal and written communication; actively promote safety for patients, families, visitors and co‑workers; attend carefully to important details – practicing Stop, Think, Act and Review to self‑check behavior and performance.
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs, following up until needs are met; demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior; partner with all team members to achieve goals; be receptive to others’ ideas and opinions; contribute to a positive work environment; demonstrate flexibility and willingness to change; identify opportunities to improve clinical and administrative processes; make appropriate decisions using sound judgment; use resources efficiently;

- Completion of a five‑year pharmacy program in an accredited college of pharmacy (Required).
- One year of pharmacy experience (Required).
