Physical Therapist PT - Outpatient Ortho / Sports

Med Star Health is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at MHPT @ Dundalk
. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy, use a variety of evaluation and treatment approaches, and provide excellent customer service to patients and families of diverse ages and backgrounds.

• Provide evaluation services, including review of pertinent history, performance of assessments, and documentation of results.
• Explain findings and treatment plan to patients and families and incorporate them in goal setting.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, patient presentation, and evolving health‑care environment; consult with other professionals as indicated.
• Adjust care plans in response to changes in patient condition and coordinate medical/rehabilitation consultations as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and follow‑up care; document and charge patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Demonstrate effective time management and meet productivity expectations; maintain an accurate schedule.
• Pursue continuing education for professional growth; serve as a clinical instructor, assisting with orientation and mentoring of inexperienced staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia licensure required as appropriate.
• American Heart Association BLS or CPR certification for healthcare providers.
