• Setting: Hospital – Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour Days (08:00 – 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 – $2,260
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Not required
• Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
• Floating: May be required within specialty
• On-call: Not required

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technician in Maternal Fetal Medicine, High Risk OB, or OB/GYN
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• Strong independent clinical skills in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting
• Experience with portable ultrasound equipment, PACS, and all trimesters
• Proficiency in Amniotic Fluid Index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Fetal Echo, Multiple Pregnancy, Umbilical Cord Doppler, Amniocentesis
• Ability to onboard and orient quickly
• Active Maryland or Compact State License at time of submission
• BLS (AHA only), NRP (AAP or NRP only), CPI Certificate (The Calm Every Storm online version)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Two satisfactory professional references (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN)
• Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the hospital

• Perform maternal fetal and high-risk OB ultrasound exams, including first, second, and third trimester scans
• Conduct specialized procedures:
  Amniotic Fluid Index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Fetal Echo, Multiple Pregnancy, Umbilical Cord Doppler, Amniocentesis
• Operate portable ultrasound equipment and manage imaging via PACS
• Work independently in a busy Maternal Fetal Medicine unit (average daily census: 70-80; average exams/day:
  8)
• Float within the hospital as needed within your specialty
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled
