Cath Lab Tech Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment while performing cardiac invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cath lab operations and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain equipment and ensure the cath lab is fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide support during procedures.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, working from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday coverage required. Additionally, the candidate will participate in on-call duties one day per week and one weekend per month.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting; candidates with 3 years of strong cath lab experience are welcome to apply as first-time travelers.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Certification in RCIS, ARRT, or RTR is mandatory.
